Having been identified as an area of need for additional secondary school places, Trinity Multi-Academy Trust was selected as the sponsor for a proposed new free school in East Leeds. The site for the new Trinity Academy Leeds school is located on the former Arcadia Group land, to the North of Torre Road, in the Burmantofts area of Leeds. The school will open with 240 places available for Year 7 students in September 2021.
