Construction work has now commenced and is moving at pace on the site in Burmantofts for the new Trinity Academy Leeds school that will open next September, providing 240 places for Year 7 students. The site is ideally located just off the Torre Road providing an alternative choice for secondary education in East Leeds.
The construction team are currently levelling the ground and ensuring that firm foundations are secured for the build. We will soon be able to see the structure of our new school developing, and watch as each exciting step towards completion unfolds.
With the 31st October deadline for parental decisions on secondary school places getting closer, the school wants to share its vision with the families of children starting Year 7 from September 2021.
To give an insight into what they can expect from Trinity Academy Leeds information events are to be held virtually through webinars, taking place during late September and early October.
Following on from the success of other schools within the award winning Trinity Multi-Academy Trust, the school will have a strong focus on Maths, Literacy and the Arts. The trust has an excellent track record in transforming student outcomes and creating aspiration within its school communities. The lead trust school Trinity Academy Halifax is rated Ofsted outstanding, and Cathedral Academy in Wakefield was awarded TES Secondary School of the Year 2019.
